Location- Head office, Manchester

Hours- Monday to Friday 8.30am- 16.30pm

Reports to – Training Manager

As both a City & Guilds & Network Rail Training (NSAR) accredited training provider, we offer a blend of recertifications & upskills courses for existing Rail personnel, in addition to delivering government funded courses nationwide to bring qualified Rail Operatives into the working world. With many candidates already in employment, we lay down the foundation for a successful future and deliver educational excellence along the way.


Job Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an NSAR Training Administrator to join our team, as we are continuously growing as a business. This position would suit someone with strong organisational and communication skills. Experience in the Rail Industry preferred but not necessary.

  • In liaison with the Training Manager, understand and comply with RTAS/Sentinel Scheme Rules for provision of Track Safety Training and Assessments.

  • Support the Trainer/Assessor to ensure all documentation is prepared in advance of a Training/Assessment event.

  • Ensure all clients are provided with the appropriate information to ensure the attendance of delegates at training events.

  • Prepare and send joining instructions for all Training and Assessment events.

  • Ensure all the appropriate documentation is used to record the communication, administration and results of training and assessment events.

  • Collect, collate end of course test papers and carry out an analysis of individual and collective performance to evaluate the effectiveness of training resources to include the trainer, the environment, and the learning material.

  • Maintain up to date IT records of all training and assessment interventions.

  • Maintain all hardcopy records for audit purposes of all training and assessment interventions.

  • Ensure all stationary requirements are readily available to support training events.


Person Specification

  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated.

  • Effective team player.

  • Have great organisational skills.

  • Microsoft Office proficient, Word, Access, Excel and Power Point.


Desirable Qualities

  • Rail sector experience.

  • Knowledge of Sentinel and NSAR inspections for audit purposes.
